The Wilton Historical Society's American Artisan Show is its biggest fundraiser of the year. On Friday, November 6, guests at the Preview and Silent Auction Party will have an opportunity to get a sneak peak at the wares of over thirty accomplished craftsmen, and come home with absolutely amazing items.

Major Silent Auction contributions, such as a tour of the stunning new Whitney Museum and tickets to the Fairfield Theater Company, will benefit the Society, as will unique pieces of fine American handwork from each of the show artisans. Guests will be keeping an eye on their favorites in the silent auction - there is sure to be brisk -- but friendly -- competition!

Highlights: A "Behind the Scenes" tour of the Whitney Museum with curator Barbara Haskell; dinner for two at the Golden Lamb Buttery in Brooklyn, Connecticut; Fairfield Theater Company tickets to two concerts (Marshall Tucker Band; Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn); an afternoon exploring Chelsea art galleries with fine art consultant Shawna Barrett; an over-sized lidded redware pitcher made by Greg and Mary Shooner.
